• I was just staring at the blonde woman that told me that Mildred had been discharged hours ago, discharged by who? When? All of this was running through my mind until she finally came up with an answer.
• "Well an Alpha came saying that you had instructed him to take your mate" After she said that I asked her to describe the Alpha and the description that she gave me matched perfectly with that rat that was I was supposed to take care of.
• As I was speaking, it was as if the ground beneath my feet was chattering piece by piece and I thought I was going to collapse.
