• Aya stood in front of Mildred's door looking sad and uneasy. But despite her naturally curious nature, Mildred really didn't care. She needed her to leave. This was not the right time to discuss anything and she wasn't interested in what Aya had to say.
• Mildred looked at Aya and felt sick to her bones. Sick of pretending that everything was perfectly normal, sick of trying to talk to a person who she knew did not care about her and was a bloody user.
