• Lily slammed the front door shut and kicked off her heels, already done with the day though it wasn’t even over yet. Her blouse stuck to her back and she dropped her purse carelessly on the floor like it owed her money. She just wanted sleep. Or chocolate. Or both.
• She could still vividly remember Alex's lips on her, he'd kissed her again this time because she was angry but she'd slowly come to realize that she didn't care what kind of situation made him kiss her.
