Chapter 28 First Glimmers Of Love

• Lily stood outside the station, waiting for her family. She still felt overwhelmed after all that had happened. She wanted so much to coil up in her bed and forget. She shivered, rubbing her palm against her arms.
• Just then, she was blanketed by warmth and a manly cologne. Alex put his coat around her, looking her straight in the eyes. Lily's breath caught in her throat when their eyes met. His eyes held something foreign that she hadn't seen in a while, but it brought a warm, fuzzy feeling to her. She smiled weakly at him, grateful for everything he had done.
