Chapter 7 You Saved Me, Cole

  • A few lecherous gazes were now lingering on Ava's body as she swayed her tiny waist to the low music, faultlessly.
  • In their minds, Ava was a good dancer and a beautiful lady too, and they wished to shoot their shot immediately.
  • However, Ava was just grinning from ear to ear, moving her body crazily. She was surprised to see herself in such high spirits.
  • Unexpectedly, Ava felt a wide and huge palm around her waist, pulling her to his torso.
  • Even in her drunk state, she was a bit astounded as she slowly raised her chin and looked behind her.
  • But unfortunately, she lost her balance and she suddenly fell forward, plunging right into this unknown man's arms.
  • Staring at the person in a daze, his eyes were tender, and his masculine jaw had the most perfect contours.
  • Ava blinked her eyes twice at the pair of handsome eyes that beam towards her.
  • “Who are you?” Her speech was slurred and she looked very drunk.
  • “You're so beautiful. What's your name?” The young man ignored her question and asked his own question, letting his hand cruise all the way down to Ava's waist along her spin.
  • Meanwhile, Ava's face had become red and even her neck was blushed at the unknown man's initial words.
  • Rocking her body against the man's trunk, “Ava, my name is Ava” Her face was red, and her breath smelled strongly of wine.
  • The man smiled mischievously, his hands on Ava's both sides and ensuring her ass was pressing against his shaft.
  • He groaned inwardly, shutting his eyes dramatically. “Ava” He called patiently, his lips approaching her earlobe little by little.
  • “Can we talk outside?” His voice fell to a husky whisper and without waiting for Ava's opinion, he grabbed her wrist and got through the crowd to the outside of the building.
  • He didn't stop but continued to walk into the night, holding Ava firmly.
  • Ava seemed to be unknown of his intentions, she was following this strange man obediently, stumbling along the way. Smirk never leaving her lips.
  • Shortly thereafter, Ava was slightly pushed against a car boot, giving no room for her reaction, the man leaned into her body then buried his head in her neck, and greedily kissed her fragrant hair, neck, and earlobes.
  • “What are you doing?” She reacted this time.
  • And with the little strength she had, she nudged his chest, but he didn't even budge.
  • His lips formed in an impish smirk as he suddenly pulled up Ava's dress then stubbornly pressed into her lips, leaving no space for her to breathe.
  • Ava felt disgusted and turned her head sideways, but this man wouldn't allow her to breathe.
  • He grabbed a handful of Ava's hair, causing her to yelp silently, “Let me just have a taste of you, pretty” He said in a low voice, his lustful gaze penetrating Ava's boozer eyes.
  • Ava bit down her lower lip, she was clearly not in her right senses. However, she knew that whatever this man had in mind toward her was not a good one.
  • “Let me go, will you?” Her words were still a bit slurred as she made to escape from this man.
  • His arms on both sides had blocked Ava's action, making her unable to move a muscle.
  • “Not anytime soon, gorgeous” He sneered then leaned forward to kiss Ava on the lips when he suddenly felt a kick on his cheek, this bang made him stagger and fell to the floor.
  • “Argh!” He cried in anguish, holding his cheek and looking up at the person who just hit him, but he couldn't see the face clearly.
  • Totaling his steps to where he was sitting, “Who are you?” Zac asked in a majestic and dictatorial manner.
  • The fierceness in his eyes could make anyone's knee grow weak, even this strange guy was startled by the coldness in his eyes.
  • “I'm… I'm nobody, sir” He replied in a trembling voice, standing on his feet and made to flee.
  • Zac noticed this and barely stretched out his feet, provoking the guy to fell helplessly to the floor.
  • His face squeezed in pain, he had just hit his jaw against the floor and his skin had torn.
  • He swiftly lay on his back, rubbing his palms together and pleading for mercy.
  • "Forgive me, sir, I'll never do this again. Please forgive me” He begged earnestly in terror.
  • Anyhow, he shouldn't be doing that because the more he begged Zachary Gonzalez, the more his hands trembled and eyes turned a bright shade of red. His neck and temples all tensed up with blue veins standing out.
  • With his eyes brimming with anger, Zac crouched raised his hand, and gave the guy a hard slap. It was so hard that even him felt his palm stinging slightly afterward.
  • He had intended to strike this guy once more, but the guy passed out after that first slap.
  • How dare he? He angrily thought inwardly, his hands clenched into fists.
  • At this moment, Ava gave a few loud hiccups, staring at the back of the man who helped her in time of quandary.
  • However, she could by no means understand why the man's back view looks like that of Cole.
  • Glaring coldly at the guy on the floor, Zac rose to his feet and casually kicked him.
  • If he hadn't come out in time, he couldn't imagine what would have taken place. When he turned around, he saw Ava staring at him.
  • He was so focused on teaching him a lesson that he had almost forgotten about her.
  • Pursuing her lips, Ava's eyes were filled with tears, then she threw herself into Zac's arms, wrapping her hands tightly around his neck.
  • “Cole. You saved me, Cole” She whimpered in his chest, looking like someone who was about to break apart at any time.
  • Zac's eyes were half-closed lazily, the storm in them was silent.
  • He fetched his car key fob from his trouser pocket then stretched it out to his Ferrari, which made a quick sound.
  • Zac looked down at Ava, who seemed particularly pitiful, his eyes slowly changed from anger to calm as he picked her up in his arms. He barely needed any effort to lift her up.
  • Ava, on the other hand, was overcome by a feeling of contentment, “I miss you, Cole. Please don't leave me again” Ava said drowsily as she continued to cruise on Zac's chest randomly.
  • Getting to the car, Zac managed to open the backseat door and carefully plop Ava in it. He then turned around majestically and sat in the driver's seat.
  • Zac had barely driven into the night when Ava suddenly wrapped her fair and slender arms around Zac, burying her head into Zac's neck, which stimulated her messed hair to cascade forward, almost blocking Zac's view.
  • “Cole…” Ava murmured, “Please don't ever leave me again. Promise me you won't ever leave my side again,” She continued to mumble her words in Zac's ear, and not only that, she nibbled at his earlobe, kissed his neckline, and cruised his chest.
  • Zac only stared at Ava through the rearview mirror as he uses a hand to regulate the steering.
  • His eagle-like eyes were looking less domineering, yet, you would never fathom what was running through his head.
  • *
  • The bright morning sun permeated through the velvety curtain in the room and dwelled on Ava's radiant and beautiful face.
  • On her face, there was a pure smile prevailing on it as she stirred and adjusted the feather pillow against her head.
  • She hummed softly in her sleep, stretching out her arms and legs on the comfortable bed.
  • Ava knew this was just a dream; however, she didn't wish to rouse from such a beautiful dream so soon. She just wanted to enjoy the comfy for a little moment.
  • Ava was still in her doze when the delicious aroma of coffee strike her nostril. With the way, the fragrance had replenished her surrounding, she knew this was not a dream anymore.
  • Her eyelids trembled while she inhaled the flavor severally. Suddenly, she opened her eyes, but couldn't take in her environment at first.
  • Removing her eyes from the white ceiling, she gradually braced herself up, peeking her eyes at every single thing in the luxurious room.
  • She glimpsed in the direction of the coffee smell, and truly, there was a coffee cup on the nightstand.
  • Ava gulped the salivary in her mouth as she had become highly strung up.
  • “What's this place?” She muttered to herself, then glanced down at herself.
  • Instantaneously, her eyes opened wide in disbelief. “What? What happened to my dress? What am I doing here? Where's this place?”
  • Asking herself these questions in a breath and a low voice, Ava was compelled to leave the bed when the door suddenly swung open.
  • Ava shrank back in the bed, staring at the valiant and nobleman at the door, she promptly registered where she had seen the face before.
  • 'Zachary Gonzalez'
  • His name echoed inwardly in Ava's heart as she continued to stare at his face in bewilderment.
