Chapter 33 A Time To Think

• I was sure Xavia would not be at the garden at this time. It was early in the morning. She should be in the kitchen cleaning, mopping, and sweeping. And she would not be back until breakfast had been eaten, because she would need to wait for plates to be washed before the kitchen is cleaned again. I had made that arrangement for a day like this.
