Chapter 62 Situation

• Alexis was finding it hard to live with Andrew. He gave her what she had never received from anyone else, which confused her and led her to think that there were undisclosed intentions behind his words.
• The worst part was looking into his eyes and realizing that she felt the same. She had been foolish, an idiot, for accepting to be his pretense, because now she felt that it wasn't a lie in her heart anymore. Yes, her feelings had merged with reality.
• Alexis knew she would end up with nothing. Even though there was a promise of reward, she no longer desired it, nor needed it. He had given her what she never asked for, and it was wonderful. It was being wonderful.
