Chapter 60 The Girl

• "It wasn't just Alex who was nervous about that meeting. In fact, Andy wanted his mother to like his girlfriend, even if it was all a charade. Somehow, he wasn't there to pretend. Alex was his best friend; he felt an absurd attraction to her and thought she was an incredible person.
• During the trip, he imagined everything being as real as possible. It would be easier if it were, but he wasn't crazy enough to try that. Losing their friendship if something went wrong would be one of the biggest and worst mistakes Andrew had ever made.
• They both entered the house together. He greeted his mother and introduced his companion. As always, Alex was adorable, and he had no doubt that his mother would see that at some point.
