Chapter 15

  • Lexie's eyes fluttered open as she was pulled from the deep sleep in which she just seconds ago abided in. Her eyes, though a little blurry darted around the room, firstly noticing the half drawn curtains that the sunlight spiralled through and secondly, she noticed that the side on which her captor once laid was now lacking the warmth he provided all through the night.
  • Her eyes once again glided across the room, looking for any sign of him, but she found none, not even his shoes, or a discarded piece of clothing.
  • Curiosity tied a bow in her head then and she wiped the sleep out of her eyes, then as indolently as possible, she shuffled out of bed.
