Chapter 21

• Willow gasped as she realized that she must be up in his penthouse! On one of the days she walked around the house she had come across it, but her entry had been barred by the staff who informed her that Scott kept his penthouse off limits to all his visitors. How had this happened then? Why was she here? She didn't remember coming up here, and who changed her clothes? Surely not….
• She put off the questions in her head in her zeal to find the bathroom. She got up from the bed and it took her a full minute to finally locate a set of polished doors she opened to reveal a bathroom that was so large it seemed like a football pitch. She stood to admire the space and the technological wonders it contained, before quickly helping herself and going back into the room in tiptoes. She quickly glanced at the direction where Scott lay and found the sofa-bed empty. In her confusion, she stood, remaining where she was.
