Chapter 142 The Reinstatement

• Instantly, the news spread among those present, especially the members of the Management Staff, who were aware of the story. The General Manager, who was yet to resume, was called upon to be updated, but his phone was switched off. Robinson and Richard had resumed and were at their offices, oblivious of what was happening. They never knew that the Chairman was in the country nor was he in the office complex. They were busy with their work as usual.
• Although, the General Manager lived in the Residential Area too, but he was not aware that the Chairman was in the country. He was busy the entire Sunday thinking of how to butter him up to destroy Ken and destroy the Cherry Fields Oil and Gas Group. Nevertheless, the new trend had disorganized his plans.
• Now, everyone who was involved in the machinations against Ken wondered why the Chairman was coming to the office in the same vehicle with him. Though, the General Manager had not informed him of the person he sacked, he only informed him that he sacked a Management staff for gross misconduct. He also informed him that he had been replaced by another staff who would come back from his leave that day and take over. Now, he was nowhere to be found, and was incommunicado. It was the information the General Manager gave to the Chairman that prompted him to visit Nigeria.
