Chapter 105 Conflicting Minds

- I muttered a string of curses under my breath, my annoyance spiking at the sound of the umpteenth knock on the door of my bedroom. I knew exactly who it was, and even though l'd refused to let him in, he refused to walk away. He'd forced his way into the house after all. I was in no mood to see anyone, especially not him.
- I hadn't felt this angry in such a long time, and I hated that seeing my 'parents' again for the first time in years had triggered such immense emotions inside of me. It made me feel pathetic, like a lost child in dire need of his parent's love and affection. I knew the truth though, those people would never love or accept me the way I am. They were the start of my many misfortunes after all.
