Chapter 79 Pup Ii
- It was past eight in the evening now, and my legs were starting to cramp. The car's headlights were bright enough to help me drive comfortably, but that didn't mean I still liked it. I was getting tired, and the roads were starting to blur together and look relatively the same way…or maybe I was just tweaking.
- I was starting to feel the telltale signs of a headache coming along as well, and the ache in my shoulders wasn't helping my case at all. Ardyn had fallen asleep on the passenger's seat a long while ago — just like I had predicted that he would — and I think the silence was starting to get to me.
- At this rate, it would just be better if we stopped at a motel or something and continued the journey in the morning.
