• I watched as he rushed to the bathroom, taking time to scrub his hands. I used the opportunity to check my phone, looking through the texts of Nightshade's men telling me that they had taken Andrew to the hospital just fine, and the doctor said he would try his best to make him okay to fly back with us by 8am at least.
• I had given one of them my number before we left, and instructed him to keep me updated. Although Nightshade wouldn't punish me or do anything rash if Andrew died, or had some permanent damage, I really couldn't sit through that lecture. And he might start suspecting something with Denzel, and that would be the last thing I would need.
• I sent them a text back, telling them to just make sure he's at least breathing by the time it'll be time for the flight. I sincerely didn't care if he had permanent damage or not. I would be fine as long as he wasn't dead.
