• Seraphine told him everything Alpha Daven had told her about Alaric, about how they used to be tyrants when they were younger, how Alaric went behind his back to win their fathers favour, she told him everything he had said about how their father's mysterious death wasn't so mysterious.
• When she was done Lysander threw his head back and let out a long and bitter laugh.
• "After everything Alaric has done for him, that bastard still doesn't have anything true to say," he growled. "The only reason Daven is still breathing right now is because of Alaric. How dare he disrespect Alaric even in death ?"
