Chapter 22 Tough Choice

• Present day.
• The next morning, everyone was up as soon as the first ray of sun pierced through the clouds. Seraphine had barely slept, she was torn between going to look for her sister and continuing their journey. Both were very important and time dependent, the life of all the members of her pack depended on it, but Elara was also her only sister, and she would rather die than let anything happen to her. Seraphine couldn't think of anyone that would have a personal vendetta against Elara. "She was definitely kidnapped by my enemies to get leverage over me", she thought. She couldn't help but feel guilty that if anything happened to her sister, it would be her fault.
• When the camp was packed and ready to go, they made sure they covered their tracks and any sign that they had been there, in order to make it difficult for anyone following them to predict their movements. Seraphine decided to split the traveling group into two. She looked around at everyone. Mike, one of the pack warriors, and two other men will trace Elara's scent and find her, while she, Gareth and two others will continue their journey to Alpla Carlson's pack.
