• Within a matter of less than an hour, Mabel appeared many times on the security tapes. By the third time she appeared, she was distinctly uncomfortable-looking. If indeed the dilute sulfuric acid and concentrated sulfuric acid markings were reversed, Genevieve stopped the security tape and had her assistant page Mabel to the office.
• The moment she was informed Genevieve wished to see her, Mabel became apprehensive, automatically glancing at Lucia, who sat diagonally across from her.
