• All that could be found as evidence on the internet at this point were photos, and there was no solid evidence. Divorcing Jack at this point would be like indirectly accepting the fact that he had indeed committed adultery. Despite the fact that Jack's actions had disappointed Richard so much, Jack was still someone whom he had trained personally for the family business. He could not just give up on him for one mistake. His bitter words beforehand were meant to educate Jack so that he wouldn't commit such actions again.
