• Tyler answered the phone after a short while. He sounded frivolous as usual. “Hey, Bruce. What’s up? Why do you call me all of a sudden?”
• Bruce’s voice was a little raspy than his usual tone, and he sounded a bit cold, “Tyler, give me Whitney’s phone number. I know you have it. I have something urgent to tell her.”
• Whitney’s whereabouts had always been mysterious. She did not have a fixed contact number, either, so she usually was the one who contacted others.
