Chapter 10 Destroy Her Shop

  • Blood pounded in Winter’s ears as she panicked.
  • No, it can’t be! She took out her phone, dialed Jordan’s number, and wailed, “Bad news, Jordan. Some b*****d had ruined everything! They have canceled the TV series, and everyone is leaving. What should I do?”
  • At that time, Jordan was in a middle of a meeting. Hence, he was already in a foul mood when the call interrupted him. But as soon as he heard Winter wailing on the other end, he became even more frustrated. “Zip it! I was the one who canceled your TV series!”
  • “What?” Winter gasped in horror and started bawling.
  • “Jordan, why would you do that? Was it because of that woman? Did you punish me because my assistant accidentally hurt her child?”
  • Jordan couldn’t help but frown at what she said. What kind of nonsense is she saying?
  • “What the hell are you talking about? Can you just shut up now? I’ll explain to you later.”
  • With that, he hung up on her.
  • The moment the line was cut off, Winter’s face writhed in hatred and clenched her jaw tightly. “That b****! It’s all her fault!” she snarled viciously.
  • It was around ten in the morning as Kaitlyn was preparing to head out to stock up on groceries. Right then, a few expensive cars pulled up in front of her florist shop.
  • The car door opened, and Winter exited from it.
  • She was dressed in designer clothes and three-inch heels, flanked by several stern-looking bodyguards in black suits.
  • Right away, Kaitlyn could sense something was amiss. She put up a solemn front and asked, “Winter, what is going on?”
  • Winter then glanced around the tiny shop in disdain before waving her hands. “Destroy it!”
  • At her order, her bodyguards rushed into her shop and smashed all the pots in their sights. They threw and stepped on every flower in her shop on the ground, creating a mess.
  • Kaitlyn’s face paled, and her heart sank as she tried to stop them. “Stop! Stop doing this!”
  • Meanwhile, Winter stood aside with a smug smile on her lips.
  • B****, this is your punishment for seducing Jordan.
  • At the same time, Alex and Rachel were heading downstairs. Upon seeing the scenario, they screamed in fright.
  • Hearing their screams, Kaitlyn ran towards her kids and pulled them into her embrace. “Alex, Rachel, don’t be afraid. Mommy is here.”
  • “Mommy, tell Bruce to come here now!”
  • Alex buried himself in his Mommy’s arms. He seemed calm, but his body was trembling in fear.
  • The shop was already a total mess, but the bodyguards showed no signs of stopping.
  • Kaitlyn could feel her heart constricting in pain as she watched them tore down her shop gradually.
  • Suddenly, another car came to a halt outside the shop.
  • It was Bruce.
  • He was usually calm and gentle, but when he entered the shop and saw the damage done plus the cowering family of three by a corner, he felt a surge of anger overwhelming him.
  • A look of hostility flashed across Bruce’s eyes as he strode over and grabbed Winter’s throat viciously.
  • “Winter Addison, tell them to stop if you want to live. Otherwise, I’m gonna make your life a living hell!”
  • Winter was freaking out as she struggled hard to release herself from his forceful grip.
  • In the blink of an eye, Bruce flung her away with force.
  • As Winter gazed at the man who appeared suddenly out of nowhere, her furious gaze turned to malice. “Who are you, and how dare you touch me?”
  • Bruce looked down at her like she was nothing but a worthless vermin. “Get out, now! If you dare show up here again, I’ll make sure you’ll regret it!”
  • His imposing manner terrified Winter as she turned a ghastly white.
  • “Did you just threaten me? You, making sure that I’ll regret it? Well, we’ll see about that!”
  • Having said that, Winter made a call to her father. “Dad, someone tried to kill me! Quickly inform the Hartmans and Jordan about how his fiancée nearly got killed!”
