• MORGAN'S POV
• I spent the next two days in the hospital and left on Monday. They were the longest two days of my life, and only Dickson giving me multiple updates per day about Eve's whereabouts kept me from saying damn it all and leaving against the doctor's advice.
• I left the hospital in Dickson's company, with Henry driving us. It was only a few minutes' ride to the company, but it felt like it was taking forever. I looked at my watch. It was twenty minutes to nine o'clock. I knew for a fact that Eve was already at work because Dickson had her department director report to him the moment she showed up.
