Chapter 28 Getting ready for the inevitable

• Sydney - 
• The day before the 'wedding' Leah, Mike and I went out for our last dinner together. We went to Mike's steak house. I was agitated and Mike was moody as usual.  He had been unusually quiet lately, maybe he was still mad at me or thought I am a gold digger who chose the easy way out. Perhaps, he was right.
• He dropped us near our door and was about to climb up for his flat when I called him. He stopped and looked at me curiously.
