Chapter 71 The Dark Room

• Apparently, the dark room was not a place one would find cozy because it was the Kingston Family’s underground prison. Furthermore, it was situated in a remote corner of the Kingston Residence where no one would ever think of visiting. Upon arriving at the quiet courtyard, Yvonne was taken in by the bodyguards.
• Soon, they were greeted by a squad of men in black suits. After Mrs. Croydon made her presence known, one of the men in black walked to a corner of the courtyard and turned on a switch. Then, in the empty space in the courtyard, a door opened, revealing a passage down to an underground chamber. After that, a few men in black walked up to the bodyguards and took Yvonne with them before they headed downstairs.
• Heading downstairs, the few of them shivered when they felt a chilly breeze grazing their faces. As they arrived at a huge space underground, the first thing that came into sight was a huge room which was about fifty square meters. Its interior could be seen with all kinds of instruments and devices used to torture a person. As those frightening tools stared back at her, Yvonne only quivered with fear whereupon she gazed at Mrs. Croydon and said, “This is false imprisonment!”
