Chapter 80 Ravengrim
- Alpha Kayden - POV
- The autopsy report Harris brought in arrived late, and I read through it in the library while he called someone to fix the shattered window. The findings were disturbing: Raven was indeed a werewolf, but her heart contained a dark core—an intensity unlike anything we’d seen before. It was similar to the aura we found in the abandoned Night Angel pack building, yet this one was stronger, darker. The report went on to say that Raven’s transformation began in childhood, fueled by an herb called Henbane, a plant that only grows in the desolate lands. Henbane, they said, hadn’t been active for decades, not since Raven was imprisoned. I set the report aside, my thoughts swirling, and moved to the shelf to retrieve a book titled *Dark Realm*, written by one of Raven’s own—a wolf who had broken free from the darkness and reclaimed his purity.
- I admired the author’s courage, documenting a journey he had witnessed with his own eyes. The book began with King Ravengrim, the ruthless Lord of the Dark Realm, whose thirst for power was insatiable. Human souls were not enough for him; he craved dominion not only over the Dark Realm but also over Earth and Heaven. Ravengrim’s closest friend was Shawn, a lone wolf who despised packs and the old ways. Ravengrim had tempted Shawn with a promise of power—to make him stronger than any Alpha, to give him a pack of his own. Shawn, blinded by ambition, accepted. Little did he know, Ravengrim’s gift came at a price. In return, he claimed their souls, binding them to darkness. Thus, the Raven wolves were born.
