• My bruise from being shackled healed completely in three days, which never happened before. When I bruised, it took a week and two days. I put on the sundress, and my baby belly showed. I looked at the calendar; it's been three and a half months, marking today since I have been in the pack. I was abducted for a month, and I don't know how time flew in a blur.
• Alone in my room, trying to think about how my life will be from here on after Damon and Kayden manage to catch June and Alpha Vella. I will be free to move to the human city and go back to start living my normal life, but what about the mate bond with Kayden? Am I even ready to move on in life from Kellan? I may give a chance to Kayden as he is my mate, but my body agrees to accept him as a mate. I mean, many warm and jittery feelings and butterflies come to life, just like Julie mentioned, and every time I see Kayden, I feel such things. But at the same time, my heart and my mind question my emotions, and I feel I am betraying Kellan by moving on.
