• The wedding vows and exchange of rings passed by in a blur. My eyes were fixed on Alpha Kayden. He placed one hand on my cheek, the warmth of his touch comforting. I closed my eyes, bracing for what came next—sharp pain. I moaned as his canines sank into my neck, marking me as his mate. It was the symbol of our union, the sign of becoming his Luna. My vision blurred from the pain and the overwhelming surge of Alpha Kayden’s power mingling with my own. I felt lightheaded until his strong arms pulled me closer, my body supported by his sturdy frame.
