Chapter 25 Visit Penny

• When Penny spotted the familiar car parked nearby, she gently touched Charlie's head and said, "Jim is getting older. You shouldn't bother him. It's not safe for you to be out so late. Go back home early." Though she scolded Charlie, her heart melted the moment she saw him.
• Charlie didn't offer any explanation but threw himself into her arms. "Mama, I missed you, and I was worried. So, I came to check on you." He nuzzled against her as he spoke.
• His display of affection softened Penny's heart, and she hugged him back.
