• I smiled as I saw Ace run around with Helen, sometimes he'd push her towards the lake and she'd make a turn to chase him. Who would have thought that Helen would ever apologize for all the wrongs she had done to us a year ago? She for one would have never believed so if anyone had told her that.
• A lot had happened in the past few months- heart aches, business rivals, the reappearance of James Walls–my dad. Up until now I didn't still want to regard him as my dad. To the best of my knowledge, I knew that a father was more than a biological connection, it was a responsibility, a commitment, a sacrificial relationship but James Walls was none of those, he was a man that cared only for himself.
