Chapter 54

• The sound of the birds chirping woke Charles up from his sleep, and the warm sun rays that shone on his skin made him feel good. Birds rarely came to perch on the tree beside his room, so to Charles, it felt like a good day.
• He stretched, and yawned, then stood up from the bed. He was ready for today’s agenda as he had rested enough, yesterday. Charles walked into the bathroom to have his bath, and after that, he dressed up.
• After he was done dressing up, he strode down the stairs to meet James who stood in the sitting room with an I pad in his hand. Charles had decided to go with James this time as he wanted to switch between, he and Vera on occasions like this.
