Chapter 4

• Vera led Charles into the most private and exclusive part of the hotel.
• She had been the hotel relationship manager for almost four years so she had seen and worked with a lot of rich men. After all, the hotel was the most expensive in the city and only very rich men could afford their services.
• However, this was the first time someone like Charles was able to pay for the hotel membership and not just any one but the highest. Within her, she believed that Charles was the son of a billionaire or a billionaire himself. If not, he would not be able to pay for the highest hotel membership.
• She thought so because there were tons of rich men in the city who were still humble and invisible. Most of the men who paid for the high hotel membership were humble and low key men. She studied Charles for some minutes and concluded he had to be one of them.
• When she saw him at the lobby after she received a call from the receptionist, she had initially looked down on him because of his dirty delivery clothes. She didn't even think he had up to $50 in his bank account talk more of 1 million dollars.
• When the receptionist told her that Charles was the one who paid for the highest hotel membership, she didn't believe it for a second. She was expecting someone with better clothes and expensive jewelry. She stared at him in shock before she regained her composure.
• Due to her professionalism, she was able to handle her disbelief and after confirming his membership, led Charles inside the hotel. She didn't want to say or do anything that would destroy the reputation of the hotel.
• Vera was a very kind and mature woman. She was also very beautiful and hardworking. Many men who came to the hotel tried to get her attention but she was not interested in them because they were mostly proud and cocky.
• She wanted to find a good rich man who would appreciate her beauty and hard work. She desired a rich man who was not popular but very low key. And Charles fit her requirements perfectly. He was rich, handsome, humble and low key.
• "What would you like to eat?" She asked Charles when she managed to focus her attention back to him. "We are happy to serve you the best dishes we have here."
• "Bring me the best meals you have." Charles answered. "Everything that you can bring."
• "We will bring them immediately." She replied and smiled at him.
• Charles noticed her pretty smile and smiled back too. He had also been watching her from a distance and he found her to be very beautiful and mannered.
• He also didn't notice any signs of her looking down on him and that was a positive thing to him.
• Soon, she returned and led him to a table full of food. All the best kinds of meals were served at the table. Charles' eyes glimmered as he saw varieties of exotic cuisines, chinese meals, salads, caviar, haggis, chicken, and even sushi. This was the first time he had been served like that and every dish on the table looked delicious and appetizing.
• He was salivating as he took note of every meal. He was sure that the dishes cost over a hundred thousand dollars and they were prepared by the best chef's available.
• Charles could not finish all the meals by himself but he did not care. After all, he paid a million dollars for their services.
• He decided to taste every dish on the table by taking a bite out of all of them. With each bite, he smiled and nodded his head in approval. Golden state hotel was indeed a ten star hotel, as all their dishes smelled so nice, looked and even tasted way better. No wonder everyone tried to pay for their services.
• Vera watched as he ate and knew he was enjoying the meals. She hoped he was impressed by the dishes she served him.
• "Mr. Charles, how's your meal? Are you enjoying them? Do you mind sharing a review?" She asked, standing right behind him.
• Charles flashed her a wide smile. "I love every dish. They are so delicious. Indeed, this hotel is the best in the city and I'm impressed.”
• "That's great, Mr. Charles. I'm really happy with your wonderful review." She said, "If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to call me. I'll leave now so you can enjoy your meal in private."
• Charles looked around and realized most of the dishes were still in excess. "Miss Vera, I can't finish all these dishes. I think it will be lovely if a beautiful woman like you joins me to eat. What do you think?"
• Charles found her to be very charming and her calm, respectful demeanor wasn't something he was used to in women, especially Angela.
• Vera turned to him, bowing slightly. "I really appreciate the gesture but it's inappropriate for me to join you at the table. It's working hours for me and I'll not like to violate any rules here. My boss might find out and fire me." She said politely.
• The truth was that she wanted to eat with Charles and even get to know him better. Besides, she had never eaten one of the hotel's premium meals although she was a manager.
• But she also did not want to throw herself at him. She wanted to remain reserved while she got to know the kind of man Charles was. She knew her boss would not have an issue with her eating with Charles but she decided to be responsible.
• "I don't think it's inappropriate to eat with me. Besides, if your boss doesn't approve of it or tries to fire you because of it, let me know. I'll make sure he doesn't fire or punish you. Come on, join me. The meals are really delicious."
• Vera agreed and joined him at the table. She opened one of the best wines and poured a glass for her and Charles. He was glad that she agreed to join him.
• As they were eating, a screen appeared before Charles but only him could see it.

• Charles looked at the screen and noticed that 1 black card point had been added to his account. He smiled but couldn't show his excitement because of Vera.
