• Carmichael's smirk widened, revealing a cruel glint in his eyes. "I admire your bravery, Lindsey, but it is misplaced." He said. "I do not want to hurt you, but I will if I must."
• Lindsey flinch at his threat, her heart was racing. She had never seen someone like this before, so cold and ruthless. She could not let him harm her, she had to do something. But what? She glanced around , looking for anything that might help her. Her eyes scanning her environment for anybody that can help her, but the only people she was seeing was him and his men.
