• Lyra nodded politely and excused herself, leaving Lindsey and the team once again alone in the room. As they continued to munch on the snacks, Lindsey couldn't shake off the dreadful feeling that lingered in the air.
• Suddenly, the door to the room swung open, and a tall, imposing figure walked in. The group immediately stood up, their hearts pounding in their chests.
• The figure approached the group and came to a stop in front of Lindsey. She looked up at him, her heart racing. He was a striking man, with dark hair and eyes that seemed to pierce right through her. She could tell that he was someone who was used to being in control, and she felt herself shrinking under his gaze.
