- Nix glanced briefly at the glass in Jack's hand but did not reach out to take it.
- He glanced at the other people in the room. "We're not friends," he said coldly.
- Jack did not expect Nix to decline his offer. He smirked and said, "You're not very approachable, are you, Mr. Jaeger? Even if we can't be friends, won't you accept a drink offered to you out of courtesy?"
