Chapter 7 Temple of the God Tempestia

  • The town of Begonia became agitated that day. The battle action of the mysterious group is very eye-catching. People were busy running for their lives, eschewing the chaos. Some fell, and some were even trampled by a group of panicked visitors. Fortunately, there were no casualties in the incident.
  • Everyone is now seen without a cloak. No one wore a hooded coat anymore as they had originally gathered in the square.
  • Kiran stared at the stage. Niraj Singh has completely disappeared, disappearing with the mysterious group.
  • "I'm grateful, the storyteller survived"
  • Meanwhile, Captain Bao stood waist-ruffled in the middle of the field. With a deteriorating face, he raised his sword high into the sky, then shouted with a large voice.
  • His voice resonated in the sky of the city square.
  • "Everyone, please calm down.
  • Do not cause meaningless noise, which adds to the chaotic atmosphere. The military will take strict action against the vandal," his face was scarlet. He looked furious.
  • Meanwhile, the military was powerless. Of the people of Begonia City who attended the execution in the square, there were too many of them and it was difficult to put in order.
  • "At least the Red Phoenix Clan does exist!"
  • "The storyteller Zolia is blessed by the God of Tempestia."
  • The army was also confused by the noise of people telling stories. Captain Bao's loud voice was not beneficial at all. Things are still chaotic.
  • Kiran's eyes searched for Avena, Kai, and Ming. He hoped that his three friends would pass in front of his eyes. Kiran wanted to express joy, sharing her relief with her three friends who of course thought the same as him.
  • They are supporters of Niraj Singh.
  • Kiran took a note silently in her heart. There were many satisfied smiling faces, seeing that the government side and the white-haired female witch, lost badly against the four sorcerers, who were allegedly from the Phoenix Clan just now.
  • "I'm not alone. Many people in Begonia City support Niraj Singh." Kiran was happy.
  • The sky was still cloudy when the sun was about to set. The flames of rebellion ignited in everyone's hearts. They conversed, no longer caring about the military, the henchmen of the Hersen colonists.
  • Suddenly, there was a bang.
  • Duar! The ground trembled and the sky above the square turned yellowish-red. When it was all staring toward the stage. There was a fire burning in Eve Whitehouse's hands.
  • The female sorcerer demonstrated her skills. She wanted to scare the people who didn't have magic abilities. Her face froze, inversely proportional to the flame in her hand.
  • "I say shut up, or this fire roasts you guys!" Eve scolded.
  • The noisy voices changed instantly, all fell silent instantly. They feared the threat, after seeing the Pyromancer's fire demonstration.
  • Kiran sneered in his heart.
  • "She only dared to show his skills in front of weak people like us." His face was hateful.
  • "The haughty woman when faced with her fellow Red Phoenix Clan sorcerer, looks weak, not moving at all. Huh... A non-special fire ability!" Kirin snorted coldly.
  • In Kira's heart, the appropriate designation for Eve Whitehouse is; nonsense ruining the country, but the real act of building the country - Kong tan wu guo, shi gan xing bang!
  • After things fell silent, Eve began a speech.
  • "Dear people of the city of Begonia.
  • Representing the government of the Hersen Empire, I hereby announce an important matter." Eve paused for a while, and glanced left and right, trying to look mysterious.
  • Unfortunately, a burst of whispered sneer tones sounded.
  • "She was frightened like a little dog when the Red Phoenix Clan appeared."
  • "Now he's scaring us back, these little people."
  • Fortunately, the words sneer did not sound in Eve's ears.
  • Eve continued her oration...
  • "From tonight there will be a full-fledged curfew in Begonia City.
  • It's an emergency condition. The rebels of the Phoenix Clan earlier apparently had a headquarters in this City.
  • No one is allowed to leave the house after 6 p.m."
  • Rumble! People started protesting! But Eve kept speechless.
  • "All violations of this provision will be subject to appropriate penalties. Maybe it is the caning in the town square that will be applied!
  • The military will supervise and guard every corner of the city and take severe measures for violators!"
  • The noisy sound is now real. No longer whispers. The buzz of bees was full in the sky of the town square, as people gossiped unacceptably.
  • Someone asked.
  • "What if we had a business operating when the sun had set?" Kiran turned around and saw the brave man.
  • "I'm a food vendor. How can I work? Please give a solution, don't just always bully!"
  • Many were amazed at the courage of the merchant
  • Eve snorted coldly. His voice echoed along, no less loud.
  • "This is an order according to the instructions delegated from the central government of the Hersen Empire.
  • There is no tolerance at all. All violators of this provision will be subject to caning in the town square. Even witnessed by this whole city of Begonia!" Eve ended the creepy speech with a murderous look. The look in his eyes was so cold with death, sweeping across the town square.
  • Quiet, silent.
  • After conquering the entire city, Eve Whitehouse continued her authoritarian oration.
  • "Tomorrow at exactly 9:00 in the morning, all children under the age of 15 are obliged to gather in the town square, for the audition ceremony for talent search and magic talent.
  • City dwellers are free to watch the crowds, provided they are not allowed to wear face coverings. The inspection will be strictly carried out later"
  • Eve waved goodbye like a theatrical act. He walked in long steps down from the podium. The sound of his boots echoed, full throughout the square of Begonia City. Her long robe danced in the wind. Eve turned into the goddess of death.
  • Captain Bao was seen walking in a hurry following the Pyromancer woman's fast steps.
  • Quiet on the podium afterward.
  • Everyone then dispersed. Grumbling voices and dissatisfied babbling sounded everywhere. The imposition of this curfew is unwelcome. But no one dared to argue with the authoritarian and ruthless Pyromancer.

  • At 3:00 p.m., Kiran was ordered by his mother to exchange clothes.
  • "Put on the proper robe of prayer. We will go to the Temple of the God Tempestia to burn incense and make a little offering - worship God.
  • Tomorrow is the ceremony of determining your future. As a mother, I wish you all the best." Kora Wang's voice sounded. Not as loud as usual.
  • Kiran looked at the mother. Looking embarrassed, Kora Wang tried to look unconcerned.
  • "Let us ask for blessings from God, so that miracles will happen. If you wish, you can show a little magic talent, and be selected to be part of the royal mage."
  • Kiran was taken aback. Today his mother is very gentle and not as hard as usual. After all, it felt like it had been a long time since Kora Wang took him, to go to worship in the temple of Tempestia.
  • But Kiran was happy in his heart. Praying in the temple calmed him down. Kiran did intend to ask for blessings, to be selected for tomorrow's audition.
  • +++
  • The Temple of Tempestia is located in the northern part of Begonia City. The mother and son walked on foot, not riding horses or carriages like rich people.
  • Kiran stared at the Temple of the God Tempestia. The building looks tall and sturdy. The faded color has now turned shiny white. The front wall of the temple is lined with white marble stones imported directly from Mining Town - Shanggu Town.
  • Shanggu City is one of the major cities in the Qin Chang Empire.
  • Inside the temple.
  • The young man looked pious, as he bent down and burned incense. He wore a long white robe of simple cotton cloth, but it did not diminish his good looks. Her long shoulder-length hair was tied up and in locks tied with a white ribbon of the same color as her prayer robe.
  • There is no metal jewelry such as silver, let alone gold as a headdress.
  • Kiran again ducked solemnly at the foot of the altar. He poked incense in a large sandy barrel, under the statue of the God Tempestia - it was a statue of a gallant man with a thunderbolt in his right hand and a sword in his left.
  • The statue of the God of Tempestia looks beautiful, the work of a famous sculptor. The figure poses looking up to the sky, there is a golden crown on the head. The * wears a long carved robe, but it is also lined and embellished with original fine silk, golden yellow. God looked Great, and Kiran repeatedly saluted.
  • Kiran murmured, saying a prayer that only he knew.
  • Long without prostrating at Tempestia's feet, Kiran felt ashamed when he had to say a prayer to the Gods, asking for blessings so that he passed the aptitude test the next day.
  • But he thickened his face, threw away his inaction, and continued to pray fervently.
  • Someone hissed softly giving the code calling Kiran.
  • He circled, a little surprised. It was Avena, completely standing with his two comrades, Kai, and Ming. Avena opened her mouth, trying to code in unpredictable mouth movements. But Kiran understood.
  • He inched to leave the altar, and glanced briefly at his mother who looked solemnly praying, unaware that the child was gone.
  • In the temple of worship hallway, Avena, Kai, and Ming have been waiting. I don't know why Kiran saw the mimic of his three friends It looked serious.
  • "Look at you guys just haven't seen each other for a while, this invites us to meet in secret as if we haven't seen each other for a long time," Kiran tried to joke, breaking the ice.
  • But the three comrades didn't smile, let alone laugh. Kiran turned serious.
  • "What's the matter until the three of you look so serious"
  • Avena opened the conversation. He whispered in a hurry.
  • "I heard secretly. The magic talented child of tomorrow's talent test results will be brought to Shangghu City. The magic academy over there has been waiting for the talent. Training in this small magic school of Begonia City is considered incompetent."
  • Kiran was stunned. This means that if he passes the talent test, Begonia City will have to be abandoned.
  • "Am I capable?" Kiran remembered his father and mother. Kiran felt that his eyes were warm.
  • Not to mention being declared to have passed the talent test, he has been moved, remembering his two parents.
