Chapter 4 Phoenix Named The Flame

  • Krooong!
  • The sound of those Phoenix wings sounded echoing in the sky. At first, it was slow, but the longer the sound got louder.
  • The sound of the wings was like the sound of a gong being beaten, sounding directly echoing in Kiran's ears. When approaching, the vibration of the wings shook the child's body, causing goosebumps on the nape.
  • Kiran was hysterical.
  • The feeling hits every fiber in his body, as the reverberating sound is heard getting closer and closer – this is a sign of danger. There will be a collision soon. "I have to save myself. Jumping is the fastest thing!"
  • Wooosh!
  • Kiran jumped, as far as he could. His body rolled on the grass of the field, hitting the trunk of a nearby pine tree.
  • Kiran was in pain. It was a large and young tree.
  • Boooom!
  • Dust was flying, following the flames seen soaring, a loud sound could be heard Phoenix kissing the grassy ground.
  • Kiran felt the heat expand to the edge of the forest border, where he lay down. So hot was the steam explosion, that the skin felt like it was about to peel off. The red flame mixed with yellow burned for a moment, after which it was extinguished.
  • Silence!
  • Kiran felt his body filled with excruciating pain. He tried to stand up, but couldn't. The child resignedly lay face down in silence, enduring the pain all over his body.
  • "If the bruises were seen by my mother, she would be angry." Kiran worried.
  • The Whispering Forest is now deserted. No sound was heard there.
  • It was 3:00 a.m., and the neat desertion of the former battle aura between Enchanters was still clearly visible. The burnt smell of the explosion of the Enchantment Master Spirit Ship, across the magic illusion wall, coupled with the traces of fighting on the ground-hollow from the off-fire explosion, made the desert tense.
  • "I can't die!" Kiran tried to wake up from her sleeping attitude.
  • The first thing is death.
  • "I have to stay alive. Mom and Dad must be uneasy thinking about me." The faces of his two parents were overshadowed.
  • He still cannot forget his father's expression, when he got the news, that two of his older brothers were killed during the war.
  • Kiran forced herself to stand up.
  • Kiran silently prayed in his heart.
  • "May Tempestia protect me, stay alive and meet my parents." Kiran forgot that he and his mother had stopped visiting the temple when two of his older brothers died in the war. Bitterness and feeling unblessed by God, made Kora Wang take down all the images and statues of Tempestia worship at that time.
  • ++++++
  • Kiran had just moved to leave the field in the heart of the forest. When he took 5 steps, there was a soft voice whispering.
  • "Young man, do you want to help me"
  • Kiran was shocked!
  • He got goosebumps. It's still early in the morning, and there's no one there, other than him and that messy-looking Phoenix figure-probably charred.
  • Thud - thud, so the sound of heart palpitations.
  • "Just a moment! This is just an illusion, isn't it?" His head turned left and right.
  • "There is no one."
  • Kiran felt the wind blowing cold, on the nape of her neck. All the child's goosebumps stood up.
  • Kiran made another step.
  • "Am I the one who fantasizes too much? The fierce battle between the Enchantment Master against the legendary creature's Phoenix made me go crazy?"
  • Kiran wiggled his head like a wet dog.
  • He hoped that his mind would return to clarity-this is a common way in Ayax Continent to dispel the illusion in the head.
  • "It's better to go quickly!" His inner goose bumps even more.
  • The voice sounded again as Kiran stepped up, away from the airy.
  • "Young man, help me," the voice sounded again. Now his tone is more like begging, begging him for mercy.
  • Screech!
  • Kiran jumped away.
  • Fear grew, and the voice continued to speak, but the physique was not visible.
  • People in Qingchang country are indeed very superstitious. The existence of a hungry ghost-like figure from the world of the dead - is very much believed by some of the people of the country.
  • And Kiran concluded the voice was a curious ghost voice.
  • He ventured.
  • "Chew, your ghost is hungry. Soon dawn is approaching, and you will turn into ashes, otherwise hurry back to your world!" Kiran scolded. In his heart, he chanted the words of the exorcist prayer - a common prayer that all followers of the god Tempestia memorized.
  • Suddenly, the voice sounded again, but this time his tone was laughing at Kiran.
  • Hahaha!
  • "Stupid boy! Can you say I'm a ghost?" After that, the sound of laughter resonated. And Kiran is offended - feels underestimated.
  • '"Aranayaen Laidira enrin. Tinuva loica sinomeo narquelee terehtyan!”
  • Three times Kiran repeated the spells and prayers of exorcists taught by priests at the Temple of Tempestia. After that, the world turned quiet.
  • Kiran was relieved.
  • "Powerful prayer! In the future, I must come and diligently worship Tempestia in the temple later." Kiran's face was no longer tense.
  • With a stumble, he stepped into the whispering forest.
  • But, the voice in his mind, again and again, sounded.
  • "Boy. Have you been satisfied with those underworld creatures' exorcist prayers and spells?" Kiran gasped. He turned around and shouted.
  • "Stop all this! Please don't bother me. We have different worlds, go to your place in peace!" He made a gesture of worship and then squinted.
  • "May you be gone forever, no longer a curious ghost!"
  • But the voice sounded, again and again. Now his voice was offended.
  • "Listen to me carefully, young man. I am not a creature from the underworld. I am the same living being as you! Breathe the same air!"
  • Next, Kiran threw away her fear. He said trying to be brave.
  • "W-who are you?
  • Why haven't I seen any living things around here?
  • If you are a living being, why deliberately hide to scare me?" Kiran asked cautiously. He no longer moved away, now closer to the grassy field.
  • The voice sounded sighing, heavy and sad. And it sounded in Kiran's mind.
  • "I'm here, slumped on the grass. I'm sure since just now you have seen me. I am a poor Phoenix."
  • Kiran was frightened. He ran away leaving behind a charred figure, but was still able to communicate it.
  • Shk - shk! His feet hit the grass.
  • "Wait... Don't go yet!"
  • Phoenix's voice sounded panicked.
  • "Help me. I am that dying Phoenix spirit. You have to believe me.
  • The military will come and come back to take me captive!" Kiran kept running.
  • "My name is Flame!
  • I am a poor Phoenix. You must help me before it's too late."
  • Kiran didn't care. Fear of the military made him choose to leave. "That phoenix may be part of the rebels-the Red Phoenix Clan.
  • But Sang Phoenix's voice still sounded in his mind.
  • "You are the only one who can help me!
  • Remember carefully. When the military arrived, it was too late.
  • My stomach will be held captive and offered to the black wizard Emperor Hersen. At that time, he will become an invincible figure, and this Qingchang Country will forever be under the influence of his evil magic!"
  • Kiran stalled. He did not want the Hersen empire to continue to colonize their Qingchang Country. If he is a rebel-related Phoenix, he is likely the mount of the white wizard, Sage Alaric.
  • Kiran turned around.
  • The Phoenix figure was motionless, but Kiran saw the Phoenix's eyes twitching - a sign of life.
  • She whispered...
  • "Please tell me what I should do to help you." The fear in his heart faded already.
  • What was in Kiran's heart at this time was moved because the unique creature turned out to be still alive.
  • "Is it true that your name is The Flame?" Kiran asked.
  • "I'm not a scholar, but I heard a story from a storyteller, supposedly a spiritual creature of White Sage Alaric, named The Flame.
  • Is The Flame in those fairy tales you?" Kiran asked as politely as he had learned. He didn't want to give a worse impression.
  • "I am indeed The Flame, the spiritual Phoenix of my master Sage Alaric." And Kiran breathed a sigh of relief.
  • "I escaped from the prison locked using a magic formation by that Black Warlock.
  • Decades of being forced to surrender my soul to fuse with his Roc spirit, and the torture of surrendering, made me almost crazy."
  • "As you can see, brat. Those dozens of sorcerers are stripping me down, dead or alive! They didn't want me to be discovered by members of the Red Phoenix Clan. It will harm the Hersen Empire."
  • Kiran was silent for a moment. He thought hard. He is only a child, so what kind of help can he do?
  • "Please say what you want me to do. I don't have any magic, but I healed your physical injuries." Kiran moved.
  • German Phoenix's voice sounded.
  • "Will you do the Riding process with me?" The Flame's voice sounded pitiful.
  • Kiran was shocked. He didn't understand what the Phoenix meant.
  • "Please say clearly, what is riding?
  • I thought if I was capable, maybe I might be willing to do it. Kiran said definitely.
  • Immediately Sang Phoenix explained, sounding enthusiastic.
  • "Riding is the process of transferring power from Phoenix creatures to humans.
  • After receiving the power of the Phoenix you will become a new figure, in the sense of having the same power as me. Magic especially!"
  • Kiran was silent. Shock mixed with pleasure, all mixed in his heart. But that means he will be hunted down by the Hersen Empire?
  • Seeing that the child hesitated, Sang Phoenix immediately snatched over.
  • "There's no need to be afraid. The process was painless. After riding I immediately became dust. In the future, I will be reincarnated, that Phoenix dust that you must keep.
  • But take it easy. I have a magic tube, which will hold all my dust after it burns out. The tube will be stored in your pocket."
  • Kiran was taken aback. He said continued to ask.
  • "That means, I will become the new master of The Flame reincarnation later?"
  • The Flame laughed. And Kiran thought the laughter was a statement of justification.
  • Kiran remained firm with a thousand questions. Of course, he was worried, he did not want to be hunted by the Hersen Empire for a lifetime. He expressed his anxiety. The Flame replied.
  • "Don't worry about that. I will limit the magic ability so that it doesn't stand out too much and arouse suspicion.
  • You will only be detected as an ordinary magic talent, recruited by a magic school, as you told me earlier!
  • You won't even remember anything that happened tonight." Kiran was relieved.
  • Finally, after a long debate, Kiran said yes. I agree.
  • The Flame breathed a sigh of relief. I was excited.
  • "Let's do that riding process!" Her voice echoed in Kiran's mind. He continued...
  • "I'm sorry I lied. This riding process is a bit painful. But calm down. You won't remember anything after this!"
  • Kiran resigned.
  • Full red and yellow light in his eyes. In his heart, he cried out in pain. His soul felt burned in the eternal flame.
  • Kiran lost consciousness. All he had in his memory was the beauty of the red and yellow flames. Beautiful but very painful!
