Chapter 5 Storyteller Niraj Singh

  • It was still dark, the sun would still be seen for a long time, and the cold wind blew, making the residents of Begonia City even more asleep, all tightening the quilt covering their necks. The air froze.
  • But in the heart of the Whispering Forest, among the shadows of the swaying pine trees, on a small field with thick grass, a group of people can be seen pacing back and forth. The sky was clear and cloudless, beginning to be dark blue, a sign that dawn was approaching.
  • Swish!
  • Suddenly the clear sky was stained with three medium-sized spirit ships. The ships are all made of Padauk Wood, a special wood with natural wood grains glowing beautifully in the still dark sky.
  • As a description, Padauk Wood is a kind of wood used to make ships owned by wealthy families, because in addition to its high selling price, Padauk Wood itself is a rare spirit ship material. Natural carvings and motifs, that is what make this wood hunted by rich people.
  • Those spirit ships flew from the border of the Line Hills across the boundary of the two empires.
  • Occasionally, the spotlight from a height, glowing, with Moonstone natural stones, leads to the bushes and penetrates the lush pine leaves.
  • The military of 100 people, seen pacing, no less busy, joined in looking for something on the edge of the Whispering Forest.
  • A dashing man no more than 30 years old, joined the search.
  • He was wearing a black and white combination military uniform. The embroidery details are silver, and neat-looking, seeming to be done by a professional tailor. Plus, on his shoulder, there is a symbol of military rank, which explains that he is a Military with the rank of Captain.
  • His tall body, plus the attractive look, further made the appearance of the military uniform, look like it was specially designed for him. His name was Captain Bao, a man of Qingchang descent but serving as a mention of the Hersen Empire.
  • Captain Bao smelled the remnants of burning dust, which was left on the grassy field - it was The Flame's dust.
  • "It's not what I thought. There is no trace of magic or energy. This is not the dust of the Phoenix." He stopped his examination, frantic because he began to despair.
  • It's quiet and quiet. None of the military members made a sound.
  • But the sound sounded splitting the morning, no less cold than the air at that time.
  • "Captain Bao.
  • Have you reached the conclusion, where did the fugitive Phoenix go?"
  • This is a surprise. But Captain Bao felt familiar with the voice.
  • He lazily turned his face away, looking to see if his guess was correct.
  • "This girl again!" Captain Bao tried not to look annoyed when he saw the white-haired young woman standing behind him.
  • White-skinned women are as pale as the moon in winter. His eyes were silver, similar to the eyes of a snowy mountain fox.
  • She was tall and slim, also wearing a special jacket reserved for Charm energy cultivators, otherwise known as the official Magus of the Hersen Empire. Tights adorn long, but thin legs. Although unfamiliar, the woman looked amazing.
  • Captain Bao squinted.
  • "Eve Whitehouse, a level two Pyromancer." Captain Bao bowed in salute, but his movements looked lazy, not like a person saluting.
  • The white-haired girl has met Captain Bao several times. The two are often involved in investigation missions like this. But Captain Bao didn't like that Eve.
  • "She is too arrogant. It is thought that in this world, it is a Pyromancer who should dominate the world." Captain Bao smiled, but in his heart looked down on the woman.
  • "Am I going to be confrontational, or will I have to give in?"
  • Captain Bao is not a master of magic. He is a knight. But knight training was done with a wizard at the official academy.
  • "Is it that makes Miss Eve, come in the morning right?"
  • Eve, the pale-haired girl strode closer to Captain Bao.
  • "Isn't our coming the same? It's just that you represent the military, while I represent the Charm Master. We are both investigators."
  • The girl named Eve started talking. She didn't give Captain Bao a chance to speak.
  • Keep talking, don't care about Captain Bao who looks impatient...
  • She told the beginning of the Phoenix incident they were looking for. She said, even dozens of the best Pyromancers and Hydromancers - hunted down the Phoenix, but their fate became bad.
  • "Just now I saw across the wall, the wreckage of the spirit ship of the Hersen Empire, which was scorched by fire. Dozens of charred bodies were unrecognized. This is a shameful incident! One Phoenix is crazy, he is capable of ravaging dozens of wizards, complete with spirit ships!"
  • Captain Bao was just silent. Long before Eve came, he had obtained all the information. He has a lot of spies across the wall. He didn't need this pale girl's information.
  • Eve didn't seem to want to care.
  • She turned to threaten Captain Bao.
  • "I heard when the crazy Phoenix was fighting, it was your schedule for the night watch. What I wonder is why the military has not moved to help the Charm masters." Eve looked at Captain Bao coldly.
  • The man changed his face to become unpleasant.
  • "Does this mean that you accuse this stinky Captain of conspiring with the red Phoenix Clan?"
  • "Hoho... I didn't expect you to dare to behave like that. Accusing us of the military, without solid evidence, I can counterattack. Be careful to spit out a word!"
  • There was a moment of silence. Eve and Captain Bao stared at each other. No one wants to budge to wink first.
  • Eventually.
  • "I think when Emperor Oberon The Enchanter found out that Phoenix was running away,
  • He must be angry. The plan of uniting his power with Phoenix will stay.
  • And if he finds out that Phoenix escaped military observation in the Qingchang region for which you are responsible, his heart will not be happy."
  • Eve had a sly face.
  • "That phoenix is being held in the magic prison of Spellhold, which all locks pair magic spells and spells.
  • Are you sure, that there was no sabotage in the Spellhold prison?"
  • Spellhold is a prison that houses humans and creatures who have magic power. The guard was very tight, in addition to the military, there were dozens of charm masters - Pyromancer, Hydromancer, and others.
  • Captain Bao was shocked at the hidden accusation. Want it to feel like he slapped the mouth of a magical woman.
  • Fortunately, it was still dark. His face turned bad, disguised by the dim atmosphere. But Captain Bao tried to look relaxed.
  • He took a deep breath, silently and said coldly.
  • "About this, everything will be my superior's direct investigation. All will be inspected under military procedures. You don't have the right to accuse you!"
  • Captain Bao, walks straight quickly. He deliberately nudged Eve, acting as if there was no one in front of him.
  • Slap!
  • Eve was forced to shift if she didn't want to be hit by Captain Bao. Captain Bao glanced for a while. His words were as cold as ice.
  • "I don't mean to be rude. But I still have a lot of business to do, rather than this vague debate."
  • His tall body, disappearing among the rest of the military, left Eve stunned.
  • The girl squinted, she stared at Captain Bao's departure with hatred.
  • "I don't believe people descended from Qingchang Empire. I think they are just pretending to be submissive to our Hersen Empire!"
  • The sun has risen on the Eastern horizon. The morning birds began to chirp.
  • But until that moment, traces of The Flame's existence were lost to Earth - there was no clue at all.
  • ++++++
  • Wake up!
  • Kiran was taken aback. Kora Wang's voice rang loudly in his ears.
  • Kiran's sweet dreams are disturbed already. In his dream, he saw a dazzling reddish light burning his body. But the next incident he could not remember clearly.
  • Kiran felt a comfortable body condition. He didn't understand what caused it. But obviously after the burning pain of the yellow-red flames in the dream, now his body has changed comfortably.
  • "Kiran! It has been 20:00. You slept for more than half a day.
  • Get up quickly and cleanse your body. I don't know what activities you made the night before, what must be now is that you look messy!" Kora Wang rebuked him once again.
  • Kiran shuffled to her feet, looking for the remnants of water and then cleaning her body.
  • Inexplicably he felt that there was a lot of mucus-like dirt on his skin. Smelly and disgusting.
  • "What happened to me?" inner Kiran was stunned.
  • The last thing he remembers is the memory of playing hide and seek in the Whispering Forest. After that, he forgot completely.
  • But the restlessness was only for a while. Soon he remembered exciting plans with his friends. Avena, Kai, and Ming. Kiran has no memory at all of the incident in the Whispering Forest.
  • "Tonight at Brimm The Liquidator, Mr. Niraj Singh – the Storyteller will be performing. If I don't rush there, tonight Mr. Niraj will tell you about the story of the white witch, Sage Alaric."
  • Kiran became excited.
  • Walking alone to Brimm The Liquidator feels more enjoyable. Surprisingly he didn't pass through the Whispering Forest, which should have been closer to his trajectory than turning through the city arena.
  • I don't know why tonight feels different.
  • Kiran felt the wind blowing, gently touching the skin. But the goosebumps stood up. He had never experienced this kind of thing.
  • "Maybe it's because I slept for too long." He concluded simply.
  • Before long, he arrived at the bustling center of Begonia City. There are not too many people going back and forth to spend money, having fun in difficult times like now.
  • Not the full travelers or rich people on the street, but he noticed, more pickpockets.
  • Brimm The Liquidator is visible in sight.
  • Kiran docked against the window on the west side of the wine house. He was immediately joined by three other children, Ming, Kai, and Avena. The three of them are seen looking down, stealing to look inside the room where the attraction is held.
  • "Has it started?" asked Kiran surprisingly.
  • Three of his friends gasped at his arrival. Feeling that Kiran didn't ask about yesterday's events, they tried to act casual.
  • "Shhh... Let's listen to that fairy tale" Avena made an index finger gesture on her lips. And the attention of all children is concentrated on the attractions in the room.
  • The voice sounded chanting. The dialect is foreign, it is like reading a rhythmic rhyme. His voice was melodious like the blowing of a flute.
  • In the sky, there was a melodious bang,
  • Sage Alaric riding a Phoenix also went towards,
  • Black Warlock drove dark-colored demon roc,
  • Get ready for battle in the middle of a vast space that is immeasurably crowded.
  • Sage Alaric valiant,
  • As his Phoenix flew, he cursed the dark energy, Warlock.
  • Sage and Warlock attack each other, unbreakable in strength,
  • Sage fights to protect his home, a land that is always of one heart, and Warlock intends to become an invader.
  • But their Sage is no joke,
  • The black demon roc issued a powerful attack suddenly approaching,
  • Sage Alaric and Phoenix immediately defended,
  • Fight all out, so that victory was achieved and he did not lose.
  • The fierce battle ended thunderously,
  • But Sage Alaric and Phoenix came out as champions,
  • Dashing style and full of pride,
  • Because the country becomes safe and peaceful, it is guarded para-periodically.
  • Blam!
  • The whole room of Brim the Liquidator became excited. All the listeners in the drinking house choked up.
  • Niraj Singh the storyteller deliberately changed the real course of history!
  • The supposed winner of the battle was the Warlock, Emperor Hersen, and Emperor Oberon the Enchanter.
  • "The storyteller is not afraid of death!"
  • "He dared to change his fairy tale."
  • Terrified visitors rushed to leave Brim the Liquidator. No one wants to get involved and be labeled a rebel by the ruling empire.
  • Sure enough!
  • Soon the spotlights were shot from space, making Brimm The Liquidator brightly lit. Things are getting more and more agitated. But Niraj Singh doesn't seem to care. His voice grew louder singing the rhyme that was distorted by his historical story.
  • Things got more chaotic.
  • "Shut up!"
  • The pale-haired woman stood at the door of Brimm the Liquidator. His cold face shone on Niraj Singh who didn't care, still reflecting on the upside-down contents.
  • Eve Whitehouse waved goodbye. The red mist came out of her hand, spreading with a deadly heat. Niraj Singh did not flinch in the slightest. He is not afraid of fire it seems. Eve Whitehouse glared, wanting it to feel like it burned the storyteller man to the ground.
  • Unfortunately, the laws in the territory of the Hersen Empire and its colonies were very strict. You can't just kill, especially in public places. There were too many complaints from Hersen's colonies complaining about the arbitrary behavior of Hersen's officers, so the Emperor feared that a rebellion would occur later.
  • That is why he forbade all military and sorcerers to behave arbitrarily and not be allowed to kill anywhere, except in precarious circumstances. But Niraj Singh was not armed at all, so there was no reason to kill him.
  • Eve Whitehouse lost her temper when one figure flashed fast - so fast that it looked like a bullet was being fired.
  • The shadow quickly punched into Niraj Singh's stomach.
  • Duar!
  • The storyteller was thrown against the wall, then drooped losing consciousness. It was Captain Bao's figure, looking cold and earthy, but majestic.
  • From behind the night on the right side window, eight pairs of eyes stared at the action in the room of the wine house. All stared unblinkingly, amazed at the action of Eve Whitehouse with her magic fire, as well as the combat action of the handsome man in military uniform.
  • Eve Whitehouse snaked sharply at the west corner window, the eight pairs of eyes ducked to see Eve's eyes that looked deep, as deep as an endless well but containing embers.
  • "She's a Pyromancer!" Kiran hissed. After that, the four children ran away from Brimm the Liquidator, which was now crowded with Imperial officers.
  • CONTINUED.
