Chapter 42 Chasing Traces

• After getting an explanation from the doctor about what happened to Brandon Meadow, Jake and Mike are now walking while discussing what's on their minds. Jake and Mike hesitated about taking information from Brandon, especially when Vincent's accusations were not proven. The problems were turned more complex because Brandon might make false accusations that lead the investigation to another way.
• "If it's like this, I'm sure that Brandon lied a lot to the police," said Mike, stopping in the middle of the corridor and facing Jake. Jake nodded, too.
• "Do you still want to interrogate him?" Jake asked with a hesitant look. Mike took a deep sigh, then turned his head to the side.
