Chapter 33 The Hesitant

• "Should I leave you at the orphanage? What will they do to you if I'm not there? I don't know why I'm so worried about you. I feel that I am very guilty towards your parents. I shouldn't have come that night. I'm sorry," said Vincent, his voice getting smaller at the end of the sentence. His tears fell in front of Kyron as if he had confessed.
• Kyron was still eating and looking at Vincent occasionally. Vincent increasingly likes Kyron. If he could, he should have just left the baby at the police station. However, Vincent could not do so and assisted Kyron before Zach. His heart felt what he never had: compassion toward Kyron. The baby subdued Vincent's dull heart into a soft, caring man.
• "After eating, we will sleep. I hope you are comfortable enough sleeping here." Vincent looked around the room. For some reason, he felt no longer afraid of a dark, quiet room like before. He might have shuddered in the past and wouldn't want to enter a large room like a church. All his fears as a human being have vanished.
