Chapter 11 Not A Friend You Knew

• For a while, Vincent was walking a little erratically, and the police almost caught him. He approached the door of the apartment where Brandon lived. When he arrived at the door to the apartment, Vincent, who had already raised one hand, hesitated. His brow furrowed.
• “What would Heather say if she saw me? Will she report me to the police?” he muttered doubtfully. Vincent gave up his intention to knock on the door. It would be better if he just waited until Brandon came out. If Vincent still had a cell phone, it might be easy for him to contact Brandon. The problem is that the cellphone was left in the car, and now it has been towed by the police.
• Vincent was forced to wait near the stairs without knowing when Brandon would come out. While sitting quietly near the steps, Vincent leaned his head and then tilted his head slightly upwards. His eyes caught a very small spider walking on the wall. Even though the distance between him and the wall was quite far, the more Vincent squinted his eyes, the clearer he could see the spider.
