Chapter 23 Bad Ex

• Michael got out of his car in a hurry to go to a cafe that was open in Manhattan. He could only turn on the cell phone after charging it in the car. Mike completely forgot his cell phone because he was too busy with work.
• He entered the cafe and looked around in all directions to look for Jennifer.
• "Sorry, I'm late. Have you been waiting long?" said Mike as he pulled out a chair to sit down. Jennifer gave him an annoyed and flat expression. He had often experienced this situation, as Mike frequently forgot his promises.
