• I hated the tension in the air but I hated the men in the room with me even more. They are out of their mind if they think I will leave my mate for them. Bethany belongs to me.
• The minute I handed her purse to her two weeks ago, I knew that she was my mate and it so happened that she felt our bond too even though she was human.
• She invited me to her house and we had the best night of my life. I have waited so long to find my mate. I couldn’t let her go now. Especially not when the fuckers who wanted her were losers. Not like I would have given her up to any other man.
• Mating was a serious thing and Bethany carries my mark because I claimed her that night. I regretted it because I wanted her to know first before marking her but seeing these fuckers try to claim her, I felt happy knowing that she carried my mark which means they can’t get her. She belongs to me and her new home will be the orange blood moon pack.
• I felt stupid for making her wait for two whole weeks. It wasn’t totally my fault. We had issues at the pack and as the alpha, it was my duty to make sure everything got resolved and that took all my time. The minute I could leave, I made my way here only to find that fucker Kellian in her house and then she told me she had sex with him.
• I hated it and it made me feel jealous but I am willing to let it go since she met him first and didn’t know me but then the other fucker walked in too and she also told us she fucked him too. It was a lot to accept but once again, she met him before me so I couldn’t really hold it against her.
• Not like I could hold it against her. She didn’t know about our mating bond then. Now she carries my mark so that means she belonged to me and only me. I couldn’t wait for her to be up so that she could send these losers away.
• “Why are you suddenly so quiet?”
• The fucker Kellian asked, I hated him the most. He always acts high and mighty. Always trying to boss everyone around him. I couldn’t believe at one point I tried to be friends with him, well that turned out poorly and since then, we have been enemies.
• Heck, if not for Bethany, I wouldn’t be standing in the same room as him or the other man.
• “Do you expect me to respond to the nonsense that you just said? The both of you will leave once my woman wakes up.”
• I told him. He growled as if that would scare me.
• “Stop saying that and cover yourself up, I am tired of seeing your small dick.”
• I laughed, I just had to laugh because we both know my dick wasn’t small but his words reminded me of the fact that I was naked, not just me. The three of us were naked and she might not like waking up to three naked men in her house.
• “Does anyone have spare clothes? We don’t want her to collapse again from seeing us naked in her house when she finally wakes up.”
• I let out.
• “And you think I will give you my spare clothes if I have any?”
• Justin let out, I sneered in his direction. Justin, I don’t know how we started hating each other. At one point, we used to be civil with each other but now, I can’t just stand him, especially after how he stood by and let Kellian’s pack members beat up my pack members.
• “Well? Do you have any?”
• I asked the arrogant jerk Kellian.
• “I don’t. That’s what I have been trying to say but you both have been too busy claiming ownership of my woman to listen to what I had to say.”
• I rolled my eyes. It was hard to stay near this man. I wonder how his pack members are able to tolerate him. I would go rogue if the bastard was my alpha.
• “I don’t care what you both say or think. Bethany belongs to me. Get that into your stubborn brains now so that it won’t hurt so hard when she chooses me.”
• Kellian repeated. He was really pushing it but I wasn’t about to give him what he was asking for. I needed to find something to wear. The only day I didn’t have any spare clothes in my car.
• Heck, I didn’t think I would shift. All that was on my mind while I drove here was meeting Bethany again.
• I planned on telling her how sorry I was for not showing up when I promised. In my head, she forgave me and let me into her house. Then we spend the rest of the night making love, after which I will tell her all about myself and ask her to move in with me.
• It was all planned out and working well until I walked into her apartment and saw Kellian with her. Everything went down the drain after that and then she collapsed because we had been so ready to fight that we didn’t consider the fact that she was human.
• I hated agreeing with Kellian, but he was right about us having to worry about her current state which was our fault. If only I had come earlier, she would not have had to deal with these two fuckers.
• I would have loved her up and then told her who I really was. I did my research on her and knew that she knew about paranormal beings enough to accept me for who I really was.
• “They ruined it.”
• I sneered. Yeah, they ruined our reunion but not for long. Once Bethany wakes up, she will choose me and send the rest two away. One thing was sure, we are mated and she carries my mark so she can’t deny or turn down our mating bond.
