Chapter 2
- Bethany
- Even while telling myself to just go back home, I sat still waiting patiently for him. He would come. I really wanted to meet him again. Yes, I was waiting for the Greek god guy I met last night who gave me the best sex of my life.
- I spent the whole day thinking about him and how wonderful our night together was. The most exciting part of last night was when he sank his teeth into the bridge between my neck and my shoulders while he thrust deep into my wetness.
- I don’t know how he did it but it made me cum so hard, I nearly crossed over to the other side. Even now, when I touch the place where his teeth had been, it still tingled and my sex clenched each time.
- That’s why I was sitting at the club again. I wanted to meet him again. Okay, I admit, I wanted a repeat of last night.
- As I got dressed for the club earlier, I took great care with my outfit. I went a lot sluttier than I did the previous day and it got the attention of a lot of guys in the club but not the guy I wanted to see. I looked around for the hundredth time, wondering if he would show up or if he even left the place.
- I stared down at my drink as yet another interested man came up to me but still, he wasn’t the one I wanted.
- “I am waiting for someone.”
- I told the man. He didn’t seem to get the memo because he tried to reach for me but I shook his hand off and was about to yell at him when his eyes widened as if he saw something that shocked him and before I knew it, he disappeared.
- I didn’t know what he saw but I was glad to be left alone. Maybe it was my sign to go back home because now it was clear that my lover from the night before wasn’t going to show up and now, I have to accept the fact that I might never see him again.
- “Can I buy you a drink?”
- A voice came from behind me. The voice sent a shiver through my whole body. It wasn’t the same man from last night but his voice had the same effect that the Greek-god from last night had on me. I turned and lost the ability to speak.
- Fucking hell, why was there so many gorgeous men causally walking around this place. I was here to find the one who gave me the hottest night of my life and here was another, casually smiling at me and offering to buy me a drink.
- I have been offered drinks since I arrived and not one of those men got my interest but just seeing this man smile made me weak to my knees. I tried to remind myself why I came back to the club but that didn’t help me in any way.
- “I don’t d---, I mean… sorry,”
- I stammered and shut up when I couldn’t get a single perfect sentence out. What’s wrong with me and getting all worked up around hot-looking men? I was here for someone else. I couldn't possibly be drawn to this man.
- “I will take that as, no? You don’t accept drinks from strangers, right?”
- He asked and flashed a smile at me. My heart stopped beating for a moment, my throat suddenly felt dry and constricted. I shook my head to clear my thoughts but it was no use. I couldn’t take my eyes off him either.
- “Can we talk outside? The DJ is about to start playing again.”
- He said and without waiting for my answer, he took my hand and led me out of the clubhouse. My heart was beating fast against my chest. My whole body awakened and reacted to his touch. I couldn’t possibly be attracted to this stranger right? No way I want to do things with him too. That would make me some sort of slut or something.
- “I am literally here for another man who I fucked last night.”
- I mouthed to myself but that wasn’t enough to get me back to my senses. I don’t know if he heard what I said but he turned around and winked at me. That made my heart skip a beat again. I tried to shake off his hold on my hand once we were outside but his hold was too strong and yet, I didn’t feel unsafe.
- “Where are you taking me to?”
- I managed to ask.
- ‘Somewhere we can talk and I can get to know you. Did you drive? We can talk in your car.
- My car? That’s a bad idea. I already felt hot and bothered what more when it’s just the two of us inside the car. It felt like I was in heat or something.
- “I did bring my car but I am not going into my car with you. Let me go, please.”
- I said and then regretted it when he really let go of my hand. I missed his touch immediately he let go and I wanted to reach out to him again.
- “Are you crazy?”
- I asked myself. He heard it and it made him laugh.
- “Good night.”
- I said and turned to head towards where my car was parked. It was a bad idea to have come to this club again today just because of a one-night stand I had with a man who didn’t even do me the courtesy of telling me his name.
- It was pointless coming here and now I was getting myself entangled with another man. I couldn’t let that happen and that’s why I was going to get into my car, go home, and sleep in my bed alone. I was able to make it to my car but then I felt a presence behind me and turned around to see him behind my back.
- “What th—”
- I couldn’t finish the words I had to say because he silenced me with a kiss, a kiss I should have pulled back from but instead of doing that, I dropped my purse and car keys. I lifted my hands and heard his shirt as I lifted myself to my tiptoe and let myself get kissed by a complete stranger for the second night in a role.
- “Wow, I knew it would be good and it was.”
- My new lover said when we broke apart. I could barely breathe from the intensity of our first kiss and even my legs felt like giving way. If he let me go completely, I might collapse to the ground.
- “What did you do to me?”
- I questioned him when I found my voice. He definitely did something to me.
- “What do you mean? I wanted to kiss you and you looked like you wanted it so I did, didn’t you like it? I thought you did.”
- He said, it was like he was checking to see if I approved. I definitely enjoyed the kiss and that’s the problem. I shouldn’t enjoy kissing a man who I just met. Especially since it happened yesterday too.
- “I did like it but you shouldn’t have. We don’t know each other.”
- “You are right. I was supposed to ask for your name but your lips looked so kissable that I couldn’t stop myself. I am sorry if I did wrong.”
- He apologized and that threw me off. I didn’t expect him to apologize and that’s not what I was going for at all.
- “I didn’t want you to apologize, I did say that I liked the kiss.”
- “Yeah, so will you tell me your name?”
- He asked. I sighed and nodded.
- “My name is Bethany but you can call me Beth.”
- I said and brushed my hair behind my ear, his finger replaced mine and he gently caressed my ear.
- “Bethany. I saw you and couldn’t take my eyes off you and now I know why. I can’t fight it and I know you feel it too.”
- He said in a whispering voice that sent a shiver through my body.
- “Feel what?”
- I asked, he answered by tilting my head until our eyes met. I saw it and it settled a jut of excitement through my body. Want, desire. It might not be okay for others but I could let myself do this. It was like I had loyalty to the man from last night. For all I know, I won’t ever see him again so what would it hurt if I decide to take on this new man and let him do the things that his eyes promised?
- “You know what I am talking about, that’s why you don’t feel uncomfortable being in my arms and that’s why your lips are slightly parted as if you want me to kiss you again. Want. You want me.”
- He knew, of course, he did. He literally kissed me because he did.
- “Right,”
- I said and pulled at his collar, I brought his lips to mine and fitted my mouth against his, letting the heat of his mouth drown out the doubts that I had. His hands roamed over my body, from my back to my ass and then he was lifting me and fitting me against my car door.
- I don’t know for how long the kiss lasted, I only know that he stopped kissing me for a moment and I missed his kiss enough to pull him back in.
- “Whoa, we should take this somewhere else.”
- He proposed, now, I couldn’t even say no.
- “There’s an hote---”
- “No, my house isn’t far from here.”
- I cut him off. If we will do this, I want it to be at my house.
- “Sure, let me drive.”
- He offered and let me go. He picked up my bag and car keys and opened my car door for me. I entered and sat down, I was finally able to breathe properly but my senses were far from being back because if they were, I would have been asking for my keys and driving home alone but I didn’t say any words and sat still as he got in the driver seat.
- I got déjà vu from last night as we drove to my house. I stopped in front of my door having second thoughts. Was I really going to let myself have sex with a stranger for the second time in a row? It was crazy to think about and other people might think I have lost my mind.
- “Get over it, you are a grown-ass single woman.”
- The tiny voice in my head encouraged me. It was like the little devil on my shoulder. My new lover must have sensed my hesitation. He placed his hand on the small of my back and that did it, I unlocked the door and stepped aside to let him in. He walked in.
- Unlike the guy from last night, he didn’t jump on me instantly, he actually took his time to look around my apartment and even accepted the wine I offered him. He was already better than the guy from last night. Maybe I should really forget about him and focus on my new lover who seemed to be way more attentive.
- “Do you usually invite men you meet at the club back to your house?”
- He asked, before it would have been no but after last night, it was definitely a yes but I wasn’t about to tell him that.
- “Why? Does it make you jealous?”
- I asked. I dropped my glass of wine and reached out to remove my top. He was here for a reason and that’s what we should be doing instead. He seemed to get the memo too as he drank what was left of the wine and strolled towards me.
- “Should I be?”
- He asked and drew me to him.
- “Not really,”
- I answered and that was the only audible word I said before he pulled me to himself and sealed my lips with his mouth. He lifted me into his arms and carried me to my bedroom where he spent a good portion of the night making me forget the previous night.
