Chapter 5

  • Bethany
  • “Hey, baby. I made you wait, didn’t I? I am sorry.”
  • Did he really think saying sorry with a smile on his face would get me to let him in?
  • “Don’t you dare hey baby me, you lied to me and made me wait for two freaking weeks, you weirdo.”
  • I yelled at him. At least, he could look remorseful.
  • “Can I come in? It’s a bit cold out here.”
  • He said almost the same line as Mr. Greek god. Well, maybe I should just let him in and let them meet each other. Not like I have anything with either of them other than a one-night stand.
  • “You know what? Come in. I need to ask you a few questions.”
  • I told him and let him into my apartment, I led him to the living room where Mr. Greek god sat waiting. He stood up the second his eyes landed on Nicholas.
  • “What’s he doing here? How do you know him?”
  • He asked me, and he suddenly looked angry. Well, there was no reason to beat about the bush.
  • “The same way I know you. I had a one-night stand with him like I did with you. Say hi, he is Nicholas, I could say your name but I don’t know it so you can tell him.”
  • I said and took a seat. The two men walked towards each other as if they were going to fight or something. I stood up and went to stand between the two of them. If they want to fight, they can do it outside my house.
  • “Stop it you two, do you know each other or something?”
  • I asked, looking from one man to the other. Now that I was between them, I realized it was a bad idea because they were both bigger than me, and being in their middle made me look extra small.
  • “I know him, okay, and you shouldn’t be associating with him.”
  • The Greek god said, I rolled my eyes.
  • “I associated with you and I didn’t even know your name. I still don’t. At least I know his name and know what morning sex feels like with him. You? You ran off before I woke up.”
  • I fired at him. I didn’t even feel bad that I slept with both of them a few nights apart.
  • “My name is Kellian and you shouldn’t have slept with this bastard.”
  • The Greek god said; he had a nice name and a bad temper.
  • “Or she shouldn’t have had anything to do with your weird ass.”
  • Nicholas responded in an equally angry voice. Okay, I have established that they know each other which means they knowingly came to me. It couldn’t be a coincidence, right? I didn’t have time to ask the question because my doorbell rang again.
  • “You sure do have a lot of guests.”
  • Kellian commented. I glared at him. He turned away from me and started arguing with Nicholas. I let out a sigh and walked toward my door hoping it wasn’t who I was thinking but at the same time, I could tell that it would be him. I let out a deep sigh when I got to my door and opened it. I wasn’t even shocked when I saw who was at the door.
  • “It’s you.”
  • I said in a bored voice. It was obvious now. They were playing with me. He surely knew the other two and they planned on coming together but at different times. I didn’t even wait for his explanation, I just opened my door wider and let him in. He looked at me suspiciously but still followed me in, I closed the door behind him and strolled back to where the two men were still arguing.
  • It must be nice for them to be pretending to argue when it was obvious that they were all in this together and those two were pretending to argue just to confuse me. They must think I am dumb or something.
  • “What the fuck is going on here?”
  • The new arrival asked, the two men arguing stopped for a moment and they both turned to the new man and then to me. I shrugged my shoulders.
  • “Yes, I slept with him too. I slept with all three of you. I mean, you already know so it shouldn’t be some kind of breaking news.”
  • I let out and walked to where I had been sitting before the doorbell rang. It’s good that all three of them decided to come around. I can get the answers that I want and send them all on their way.
  • “What are you doing here?”
  • Nicholas asked as if he didn’t just hear me say that I slept with him.
  • “You heard me, I slept with the three of you on different nights in that bedroom and now that you all are here, you can answer my questions and be gone from my house and my life.”
  • I let out. I felt angry. I actually waited for them to come back but not like this. I should have known that it wasn’t some coincidence to find three hot men and have them want to fuck me. They must have made a deal with each other or something. I didn’t want to find out.
  • “I don’t know what’s going on here but I want you both gone. She’s mine.”
  • The new arrival let out.
  • “Excuse you? I don’t even know your name. I am not yours!”
  • I fired at me.
  • “Justin, the name is Justin and you are mine.”
  • He told me and turned to the others. They started arguing so I couldn’t ask him what he meant by what he just said. I watched them go back and forth, talking about who owns me as if I was a thing to be owned. I watched for a few minutes and decided that I had had enough.
  • “I don’t know what the three of you are playing at but I want you gone, right now. I don’t even want to see any of you.”
  • I yelled out. That got them to stop arguing for a moment. Three pairs of eyes turned to me and my legs almost gave way. I couldn’t figure out how I could be attracted to all three of them.
  • It made no sense that I was standing in front of three men who I fucked on different days yet I didn’t feel embarrassed in any way. Far from it, their eyes on me made me feel hot, my sex clenched and I had to break eye contact to collect my thoughts.
  • “I can’t leave. You are my mate.”
  • One of them said, it was Justin who spoke. I looked at him as if he had lost his mind.
  • “No, she isn’t, she is my mate.”
  • Nicholas responded before I could say anything.
  • “No, she is my mate.”
  • Kellian added. I stood there staring at the three of them. They must have lost their mind or something.
  • “What the fuck are you saying?”
  • I let out. Mate? Have they all lost their mind or something? Why would I be their mate and what the fuck do they mean by mate. This wasn’t some kind of fantasy world.
  • “Stay out of it, babes, I will sort things out and get rid of these men.”
  • Kellian said. He was one to talk. He was the first to run off and was the reason I met Justin. If he had at least left a note, I wouldn't have left my house the next day.
  • “Get rid of who? Didn’t you hear what I just said? She is my mate and I am not going anywhere.”
  • Nicholas yelled at him.
  • “You don’t know what you are saying! She is my mate!”
  • They said and started going at each other again. I stood there wondering how long they were going to go at it if I didn't stop them.
  • I don’t know what their plans were but I didn’t like how they were yelling at each other and almost tearing at each other’s clothes. It wasn’t what I envisioned and I haven’t even gotten the chance to ask them about the marks yet. That's the whole reason I let them back in my apartment.
  • “Stop!”
  • I let out when it was obvious that they were about to fight. It was clear that they hated each other and were ready to fight each other for ownership of me. I wasn’t theirs in any way. I needed to stop them and get them out of my house. I can’t believe I even imagined getting down and dirty with the three of them at once a week ago.
  • “Stop!”
  • I yelled again when Kellian pushed Nicholas. They still didn’t stop. I walked towards them to try and stop them but stopped dead. My eyes widened in shock.
  • It happened so fast, I blinked to see if I made a mistake. If I was seeing things, if I was dreaming but that wasn’t it. There were three huge scary-looking wolves in my living room in the place my three lovers had just been and now they were howling at each other.
  • “No, this is a dream. It has to be a dream.”
  • I whispered to myself and slapped my face to wake up but I didn’t and the wolves started fighting right in front of me. Does that mean?
  • No way, it couldn’t be real. Werewolves aren’t real. I shook my head as I felt dizzy. I tried to make sense of what was going on around me but I couldn’t. I felt my eyes roll and then felt myself drowning in darkness. I blinked, trying to clear my head but it was no use, soon, the darkness took over and everything went blank.
