Chapter 53 Lady Verde

• A phone rang noisily, causing Jeremy to jump from his bed. He was late for work and he hadn’t even spent a week there.
• “Hey Westley, I’m sorry. I was out very late.” Jeremy said drowsily. He tried to fight out the amount of sleep in his eyes, but it wasn’t possible.
• “Oh? I’m fired? Because I came late?” The sleep left Jeremy at once, and his face contorted in anger. They were the ones who made him work an extra shift because he was new, that was why he had closed late.
