Chapter 23 Taunts

• Anger seeped into Jeremy’s bones. He clenched his fingers into a fist and walked back to his room where he was visited by his nurse.
• “Can I help you with anything else, Mr. Jeremy?” The nurse said to Jeremy in a kind voice but the man simply shook his head. He would be better off alone so he could think of ways to turn his life around.
• “Okay then. I’ll be around the corner. If you need me just press the call bell. I’ll be coming in during the afternoon to serve you lunch and then you take your medicine.” The nurse simply bowed and left Jeremy to the comfort of his quiet time.
