Chapter 4 Falling In Love

  • She cleared her throat and continued. "My name is Selina Smith, and I'm twenty years old. 'I have an elder sister, she's...she was kidnapped by our uncle...,' she continued, fighting back tears.
  • "We were having a party a month ago to celebrate our parents anniversary when the lights went out, there were gunshots all over, everyone was shouting, but people were dropping dead out of nowhere, unknowingly to us, that their drinks had been poisoned.
  • My sister and I were lucky because if we had drank the drinks, we would have died by now.' She shivered at the memory of that night, with blood all over the place.
  • Raymond stood up and walked over to sit beside her, wrapping his arm around her shoulder. He couldn't believe such a thing still existed in the world.
  • "My sister and I bolted from the room. We ran all day, without stopping. We even went to the police station to report it. However, when the cops arrived on the scene.
  • There was absolutely nothing there. It was so clean that there wasn't even a spot or anything that indicated that something happened there, and because our clothes smelled like alcohol, they assumed we were drunk and ignored us, and when we showed them the blood stains on our bodies, Lisa and I assumed that would be enough evidence for the police to believe us. But we were wrong. They used it against us, claiming we were insane and that we needed to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital. My sister and I began running away because we were both afraid that if we were caught by our uncle, we would perish. We started going from place to place without stopping...' Raymond cut in. "'Didn't you guys have any other relatives?' Raymond inquired.
  • "Anyone we asked for help always turned us down. They were probably terrified of my uncle.' According to Selina.
  • "Is he that powerful?"
  • "Yes, that's why they're afraid of him and don't want to be involved with us. One of my aunties called us one day and told us that we should keep running as far as we could. And even to the point of leaving the city. We kept going, and before we knew it, it was over. We noticed people following us, and before we knew it, we were in the woods, and my sister was shot in the leg with a poisoned bullet?' Selina began sobbing as she said this. She couldn't believe how far she'd come in a month, and perhaps it was because Raymond was with her and she didn't have to worry about anything. He made her forget her pains, and remembering them now hurt her so much that she couldn't believe it had happened to her. They were living in luxury, their lives were perfect, and her parents were extremely wealthy until her uncle ruined everything with his greed.
  • "Don't worry, Selina. Okay, we'll get through it. Just trust in me, everything will be fine,' Raymond reassured her as he kissed her on the cheek.
  • "Raymond, I want Revenge. I want him dead, Raymond,' she screamed, crying on his chest as he patted her back. He was enraged within himself, and he wished he could find this uncle and strangle him to death. This man has caused so much pain to his Selina that he wishes he could do something about it. That wouldn't hurt Selina any longer, in a way.
  • They were both silent for an hour, staring at the fire that was burning. Selina rubbed his chest with the tip of her finger and said.
  • "What about your parents?" Raymond was taken aback and began to stutter. He wasn't expecting this question from her.
  • "Um...my parents are...' He couldn't explain it to her, and she's only human. "I never met my parents, and I grew up with my uncle,' he explained.
  • "Your uncle. How come I haven't seen him in a month?' she inquired.
  • "That's because he's on a trip and won't be able to come unless he completes his journey.' He lied through his teeth, hoping she wouldn't ask any more questions. "Oh, but why did you decide to live here? I know it's beautiful, this place looks amazing, but haven't you ever felt lonely, like maybe you'd like to have friends and rent your own place and make more money?' She emphasized the last sentence. "Um...I...just...feel...at ease here, 'Raymond quickly changed the subject. "Are you okay now?' he inquired.
  • "I feel so good, and you smell so good,' she smiled as she kissed and sniffed his chest. Then she said something unexpected.
  • "Can you help me?'
  • "Help you with what?' he inquired.
  • "Check on my sister and little brother,"
  • "You have a little brother?" Raymond was surprised because she hadn't mentioned it to him.
  • "No, he's a cousin of mine. I just call him my little brother, he's part of the family?' she asked, cuddling herself against his chest.
  • "OK, I'll grant your wishes."
  • "Thank you, Raymond," she said with a smile.
  • "You're welcome,' they said as they ate the food Selina had prepared. She was not a good cook, but Raymond enjoyed it anyways.
  • After a few days, Raymond discovered that Selina's sister had been sold into prostitution, her cousin had died, and all of her relatives had been wiped out.
  • Raymond stumbled and fell down on the ground. He couldn't tell her anything because it would break her. So he lied to her, telling her that everything was fine and that they were living happily. Selina was overjoyed and couldn't stop smiling. Raymond felt bad about lying to her, but he did it to make her feel better.
  • "What's the matter with you? Don't tell me you're already in love,' Derek sighed frustratedly.
  • "Yes, I'm in love with her and intend to marry her?" He said it cheerfully. "Do you realize what you're getting yourself into?" Derek asked, glaring at Raymond.
  • "Yes," he said, nodding.
  • "Are you sure about this?"
  • "Yes, I am serious with her," he nodded again.
  • "Did you know you're a member of a pack, a lonewolf, the most powerful man in the wolf pack?" He took a position in front of Raymond.
  • "Did you forget you're also a demon?" Raymond became agitated and fixed his gaze on Derek.
  • "And, I'm assuming, you want to marry her, and have you told her about your true identity?""..."
  • "She's a human being. If you get her pregnant, the demon will be transferred to your child, and who knows what will happen? If she thinks the child is strange, you and I both know there's going to be trouble because she hasn't been punished yet and hasn't died by now, and also because you let her stay here for a month instead of a week. Now you're coming to tell me you love her; what kind of love portion did she give you to eat?' Derek
  • "Come on, none of that is going to happen, and besides, she's human, so maybe she's my mate and...'
  • "At this point, you can't have a mate. Have you forgotten Lucky? You're in danger right now.' Derek yelled angrily, and before he left, he said. "I've already told you that if you marry her, you're on your own, she's going to betray you, when she finds out who you are. And you just need to know one more thing. They're going to find our location soon, and the red moon will shine on you in five months. You're going to be in a lot of pain if you reveal your wolf form,' Derek said. "She will never betray me, I know that she loves me, the way I love her,' Raymond argued.
  • "Really,'
  • "Yes?'
  • "Then, tell her about your identity,' Derek smirked as Raymond kept quiet. "If she really loves you, as you claimed to be, we shall see, how she reacts after finding out who you really are?' Derek said, as he walked away.
  • Raymond became enraged and punched the wall, shattering it into pieces. Raymond wished he wasn't a wolf, the pack's leader, and tired of everything at the time. He's been alive for a thousand years; why can't he settle down and find happiness? He wished he was a human as well.
  • Raymond disregarded everything Derek had warned him about and married Selina anyway. He was tired of listening to Derek, it's time he do things in his own way. It would be so much better if he could hide his identity forever and live a happily married human life with Selina, and he was going to find a way to turn himself into human so he could grow old with Selina and raise their children. And that was Raymond's plan; he ignored Derek's warning and continued to be with Selina.
  • Raymond was overjoyed when they consummated their marriage on their wedding night. He turned to face Selina, who smiled back. She stood up and sat on top of him, his crotch inside her. Raymond moaned and clutched her waist with both hands.
  • "I didn't know, you wanted more?'
  • "Yes, I want you Raymond,' She said, in a seductive voice. He moaned as Selina continued to ascend and descend. Both of them moaned, and Selina jerked her head back and suddenly kissed Raymond on the lips. Raymond couldn't take it any longer, so he carried her, laid her down, and began thrusting, getting faster and faster.
  • "Slow down, Raymond...ahhh.ahhhhhh...t...are. Baby...'
  • "Love, spread your legs wider. I really want you,' he said, thrusting and thrusting.
  • "I'm coming, baby,'
  • " Me too.' As Raymond began thrusting faster, he shot out a white load of ribbons inside her and moaned out loud. This was the best day of his life.
