• After helping Little Treasure into his new clothes, I slipped into my room to change. Something about the soft light, the silence, the way his tiny fingers had clutched mine moments earlier it all stayed with me.
• I opened my wardrobe, digging through the chaos until I found it a hoodie almost identical to his, down to the floppy bunny ears and matching denim overalls. The moment I saw it, I couldn’t resist. I pulled it on without hesitation. It was silly, really, but I didn’t care.
