• The moment the clock hits one, I excuse myself from Mia and Amie as I head straight to the parking lot. I couldn't sleep throughout last night and I was restless. I was very thankful that Kai and I did not sleep on the same bed, because he would have noticed my uneasiness and forced the truth out of my mouth.
• As I arrive at the parking lot, I make sure to avoid Thane and Gunner who usually hang around as they wait for me. Luckily, I find the black Porsche that's parked by the far end of the parking lot and the plate number matches with the one that was the letter. A letter that I had long set on fire. I can't take any chances.
