• “Your Majesty, a strange woman has been spotted in the rogue prince's manor,” one of my vampire spies reported, bowing low before me. I didn’t even have to ask. They knew what I wanted—information, details, everything that could give me the upper hand.
• I smiled. A sharp, calculating grin. “Perhaps our little prince charming has finally found a bride for himself,” I chuckled softly, amused by the thought. The idea of the rogue prince—my wayward cousin—settling down was almost laughable. His rebellious nature was well known across the kingdom. But if this woman was special enough to catch his attention, then she was special enough to catch mine.
