Chapter 1

• Nysera
• “You’re our daughter… You are our long lost daughter, Nysera.” The luna muttered as she grabbed my hand, sobbing softly while staring at me with great joy.
• I couldn’t believe my ears, everything felt strange but my wolf, Raven, was surging with great joy inside of her.
• “Mom! The Luna is our mom… We have a family… I told you we weren’t alone.” She whispered and I bit back tears, still unable to believe that after seventeen years of being in an orphanage, I’d find my family.
• “I’m so sorry child, forgive me for everything, we searched for you but couldn’t find you, I never stopped searching for you, you were always in my heart.” She whispered as she pulled me into a hug and I held on tightly, inhaling the fresh air of change.
• The alpha, my father stood behind her with a smile and my eyes went blurry as tears rolled down. I wasn’t allowed to pack my things as mom led me out immediately.
• “I’m going to make it up to you. I’m sorry for abandoning you.” She whispered as she led me to the car and we drove further and further away from the only place I had known to be my home.
• Arriving at the pack house, I was stunned to see two boys and a lady in the sitting room.
• “We found your sister, this is Nysera, we finally found her.” Mom announced and their eyes widened in shock as they stared at me, taking in my appearance.
• I was dressed in a faded baggy Jean with a large top that had little tiny holes, it had been passed from lots of people before it finally rested on me,
• It was the best outfit I had,
• “Are you sure she’s our family? Mom, lots of people are desperate…”
• “Don’t say that, Valen, this is your sister… You used to sit beside her bed every night and say you want to protect her, she really is the one, we had DNA carried out and she has the family scar.” Mom replied and he nodded.
• “Nysera, these are your brothers, Valen and Blade and this is Rana, your sister…” She was still speaking when Rana fell to her knees, crying profusely.
• “I’m really sorry for trying to take your place, Nysera. I know I would never be able to match up with you and I’m so glad that you’ve been found. If you can please let me finish with my education, I promise I’m going to leave the moment I find a job and not be a burden… Thank you mom and dad for showing me what true love feels like and thank you so much for showing me what it’s like to have big brothers.” Rand sobbed and Valen frowned as he pulled her up immediately.
• “You’re our sister, you’re already a part of this family and there’s no changing that, nothing is going to change, you’ll always be the sister I know.” Valen whispered as he wiped her tears while mom pulled her away.
• “I’m so sorry for being inconsiderate of your feelings, you’re already a part of this family, nothing is going to change okay? Not your position, not the love we have for you or the memories we’ve created.” Mom replied and she nodded.
• “Thank you so much mom and thank you, Nysera.” She replied, her eyes were filled with hatred and mischief, it filled me with great fear and I smiled.
• “We are one big family, we should hug.” Mom suggested and she nodded as she pulled me into a hug.
• She patted my back warmly and pulling away, I was stunned to see her tripping and falling to the ground.
• “Why did you do that!” Blade thundered as he helped her stand up while she winced in pain.
• “It’s fine, I’m sure it was only a mistake, I’m fine, just a little balm and everything will be fine, although I won't be able to perform at the ballet tomorrow but it’s fine.” She muttered and Valen’s eyes were filled with rage as he glared at me.
• “Look at what you’ve caused!” He snapped as he carried Rana to her room while I was too stunned to defend myself.
• Rana was ushered upstairs by my brothers who stared at me with contempt, doubting the fact that I was their sister.
• I was taken to a room by the maids and I couldn't believe my eyes as I stared around.
• I was still taking in the sight of the room when Rana knocked on the door. I opened the door immediately and she stared at me with a smile that hinted at mischief.
• A part of me wanted to send her away but I smiled, opening the door for her to come in.
• “Look, I don’t give a fuck about whether you’re the real daughter or not but you won’t took things for me, I’ve been in this family for 17 years and if you think coming into the picture now is enough to take my position, you’re mistaken.” She growled, staring at me menacingly and I was filled with shock.
• She was completely different from the timid and angelic Rana that had entered my room.
• “Rana…”
• “Don’t try me, it’s your words against mine, you lowly thing!” She spat out and I gasped, I was still in shock when she pushed herself to the wall, banging her head which made a small cut around her head.
• “Argh!” She yelled and in less than two minutes, Valen and Blade rushed over, kicking my door open angrily.
• “Rana, what’s wrong? What did you do to her!” They thundered, glaring at me with rage.
• “I… I…”
• “I came into the room to apologize to Nysera for taking her place and hoping we’d be able to get along well as sisters but she pushed me to the wall, saying I was a bastard, I’m really scared, please let me leave the house… Nysera hates me and she’s the legitimate daughter.” She wept, holding onto Blade while flashing me a smirk amidst the tears.
• I might’ve found my family but it was evident that they had replaced me already.
